To take advantage of savings on additional baggage, we recommend purchasing it online at least 6 hours before departure, at Aerohollanda Airways offices, or via our Contact Centre. Fees vary depending on the baggage option and your route.
The fees and conditions outlined here apply exclusively to flights operated by Aerohollanda Airways. If your itinerary includes flights operated by other airlines, different baggage rules may apply. Please contact the relevant airline for further details.
Fees at the airport
You can purchase additional baggage at our airport offices or check-in counters within 6 hours before departure. The tables below show which fees will be charged for each baggage concept.

Additional baggage purchase rules
- Additional baggage can only be purchased in excess of the free baggage allowance already stated on your booking confirmation and tickets.
- Additional baggage is charged per kg.
- Each passenger is allowed a maximum of five pieces or 100 kg at a time.
- A single piece of checked-in baggage must not weigh more than 32kg (70lb) or exceed 158cm (62in) in length + width + height. Any bags weighing more than 32kg (70lb) must be broken down so each piece weighs less than 32kg (70lb);
- Additional baggage purchases apply to Aerohollanda Airways flights and for tickets issued by Aerohollanda Airways only.
- Additional baggage is calculated per passenger for each journey, with a journey defined as the complete outbound or inbound trip from origin to destination, excluding any transfer points.
- Purchases may be made from the time a booking is ticketed, up to two hours prior to departure. They are valid only for the flight and date shown on the additional baggage purchase receipt. To determine whether or not a booking is ticketed, check the confirmation email for a ticket number next to each passenger's name;
- Additional baggage charges are quoted and billed in the currency Robux;
- Additional baggage purchased online at aerohollanda.nl is non-refundable and will be forfeited if any changes are made to the original itinerary. Date changes are allowed only if the route remains the same. Additional baggage is not valid for travel with other carriers.
- Additional baggage is subject to space availability at check-in. If it cannot be accepted due to space constraints or airline-initiated flight or schedule changes, it may be refunded or transferred to another flight with the same origin and destination, in accordance with the airline's policy.
- Online additional baggage purchase is not allowed for infants;
- Additional baggage purchased on aerohollanda.nl is only valid for Aerohollanda Airways direct flights. If you need to book additional baggage for an itinerary that includes interline or code-share flights, please contact those carriers for their additional baggage policies;
- In case online purchase of additional baggage is not completed for any reason, Aerohollanda Airways reserves the right to not offer the online discounted price.
Musical instruments
Musical instruments can be included within your checked baggage allowance. If an instrument exceeds the permitted weight or size, you may purchase additional baggage allowance. More information on extra baggage fees can be found here.
Alternatively, fragile musical instruments may be carried in the cabin; however, this requires purchasing a separate seat for the instrument.
The maximum allowed weight per seat is 75 kg, and the maximum length per seat is 120 cm. Items exceeding these limits will require the booking of an additional seat.
Depending on the aircraft configuration, passengers may book up to three additional seats for their musical instruments, in addition to their own seat.
